CIVIL SOCIETIES IN TONGA STANDS AGAINST DEEP SEA MINING

Civil Society Forum of Tonga and its members stand against the initiative of deep sea mining in Tonga's national waters, and any efforts of deep sea mining in the Pacific.

Blue Peril provides a compelling argument for stopping deep sea mining (DSM) before it starts. It is the first science-based visual investigation of DSM’s impacts in the Pacific Ocean to be conducted independently of the industry and the International Seabed Authority (ISA) that promotes it.
